Arriving by bus
We would encourage people to cycle or use public transport, particularly as buses and trains run regularly to within 20-30 minutes' walk (through Stanmer Park) to Stanmer House, and some buses even stop near Stanmer Church.
Stanmer Park is located near Falmer, on the outskirts of Brighton, next to the University of Sussex. Earthship Brighton is difficult to find and council security gates en route may be locked - the tour guide will be waiting for you on the lawns in front of Stanmer House so please make every effort to be prompt.
By bus:
Brighton and Hove bus number 25 runs very regularly between the centre of Brighton and the University, passing Stanmer Park - stopping at Churchill Square and the Old Steine. The timetable and route can be found here.
The 78 bus runs an hourly service between Stanmer Park Village and the Old Steine in Brighton on Saturdays, Sunday & public holidays. The timetable and route can be found here.
In addition, bus services 28 and 29 operate between central Brighton (Old Steine or North Street) and destinations east of Falmer. They all stop right outside Stanmer Park.
